Fertilizer Complex

The Fertilizer Complex serves as a strategic storage and handling hub for fertilizer. The intent is that the building can be filled in off season periods at a closer location to demand areas. At the height of the peak season, the facility is equipped to dispatch as much as 7200 tonnes of diverse fertilizers within a 24-hour timeframe.

The infrastructure of the building rests on a robust foundation of concrete piles, complemented by a slab-on-grade floor. It features 10-foot by 12-inch concrete walls, reinforced with buttresses at key positions. Rising from these concrete walls is a steel structure, sheathed with metal cladding on the exterior for resilience against the elements, while the interior is lined with plywood for additional strength and insulation.
