Built for Cypress County, this 4,712 sq. ft. multi-use facility gives the Hamlet of Seven Persons two drive-through bays for fire trucks and emergency equipment, a third bay for County equipment maintenance and repairs, and much-needed office and training space.
The original design called for a wood-framed building on a concrete grade beam. After the contract was awarded, Premiere proposed an alternative: insulated precast concrete wall panels on a screw-pile foundation, with a thin brick veneer cast directly into the panels. The County chose the precast option for its durability and longer building life. The roof uses engineered wood trusses with metal cladding, and the white-painted precast walls and white metal ceiling give the bays a bright, open feel.
Premiere delivered the building turnkey, including finished offices, a make-up air system, a compressed-air system with drops for the emergency vehicles, and new 3-phase power, gas, water and sanitary services. Site work included paving the access road, grading for drainage, a chain-link perimeter fence, and concrete approach pads and sidewalks with a snowmelt system.
