Premiere designed and built this terminal for a large trucking company. It combines a 13,000 sq. ft. tractor parking area, a 14,000 sq. ft. service area with three truck bays and a wash bay, and a 4,000 sq. ft. reception and office area. The whole building is insulated and heated.
Much of the fleet is cattle liners, so the wash bay has its own separator system that removes solids before wash water goes to the sanitary sewer. The office area includes reception, individual offices, and a drivers’ lounge with a kitchen and large-screen TVs.
The building is a steel structure on a concrete pile and grade-beam foundation, with a slab-on-grade floor, service pits in the service bays, and metal cladding inside and out. As design-build lead, Premiere also handled all site preparation, land development and servicing, and handed the building over on the required winter date so the tenant could move in on schedule.
