About us
About Premiere Builders
A family-owned design-build contractor.
Who we are
Premiere Builders is a family-owned design-build contractor. Henry de Kok started Premiere Builders in the early 1980s. His son Brian now owns the company and leads it day to day, and Henry remains part of the team.
We draw on decades of experience in commercial, institutional, industrial and agricultural construction. Our work includes fire halls, wildfire bases, an aquatic centre, seniors’ housing, a truck terminal and storage buildings, along with custom homes. We keep our own crews, which lets us control quality and schedule.
Our sister company, Premiere Woodworking, makes custom doors and cabinets.
Our story
Family owned since the early 1980s
Our guiding principle has always been simple: treat others as you would treat yourself.
How it started
Henry de Kok started Premiere in the early 1980s, building farm buildings through a tough economy.
Two generations
His son Brian now owns the company and leads it day to day, and Henry remains part of the team.
How we grew
Homes and renovations came after farm buildings. Premiere Woodworking joined in 1998, our residential division started in 2005, and commercial and institutional work followed from 2015.
Safety and trades
Our safety program is COR certified through the Alberta Construction Safety Association. Henry has been a certified safety auditor since 2010, and we have long supported apprenticeships.
